BarracudaCast is the resin accessory arm of Roy Sutherland's Barracuda Studios enterprise.

BarracudaCast has added a set of replacement main and nose wheels for the recent Airfix 1/48 scale Hawker Hunter set. Three resin parts are included.

The new resin wheels are crisply detailed. The kit main wheels are supplied as separate tyres and hubs with a semi-circulr "key" on the back that will have to be eliminated. The one-piece BarracudaCast tyres won't need this additional step.

Detail is superior to the kit parts, in particular the spoked hub detail on the nose wheel compared to the soft, flat features of Airfix's offering.

All the parts have circumferential tread pattern and fine raised lettering on the tyres too.

Each wheel is supplied with the bottom of the tyres subtly bulged and flattened.

Cleaup will be fast and easy. They should be a drop fit replacement for the kit parts with locting holes cast in place.

Casting and detail is up to BarracudaCast's usual superlative standards.

These wheels are simple yet highly desirable finishing touches for your 1/48 scale Airfix Hawker Hunter.
